Oral sedation involves taking a prescribed pill before your appointment. It produces a moderate level of relaxation and is a good fit for patients with mild to moderate anxiety. You will be awake but calm and may feel drowsy throughout the visit.

Nitrous Oxide

Also known as laughing gas, nitrous oxide is inhaled through a small mask placed over your nose. It takes effect quickly, wears off almost immediately after the mask is removed, and allows most patients to drive themselves home after their appointment. A gentle option for mild anxiety.
